Gerlando - Our founder and grandfather, Gerlando immigrated to the United States from Sicily in 1920. Starting with 8 acres and working other jobs to pay the bills he learned quickly how to grow the finest quality produce including onions, potatoes, lettuce, carrots, and spinach.|
Gasper - The second generation to run the farm, he and his brother introduced the packaging of onions to the operation in 1970. At the age of 77 he is still very active in the day to day operation of the farm, handling payroll, book keeping, accounting, and some farming duties.
Paul - Our president and chief salesman. Educated as an engineer, Paul manages the specifics of the packaging operation and handles sales and freight to customers up and down the entire east coast.
Matt - The newest member of the management team, Matt joined the operation in 1995 after completing a degree Natural Resources. Matt manages the growing operation as well as handling sales and freight arrangements.
Jeff Clauss - Master mechanic and all around super genius. Jeff keeps the machinery, equipment, and vehicles running seven days a week all year long. He can fix your coffee maker, your communications satellite, and everything in between.
Jeff Horch - After seventeen years on the job Jeff knows all the ins and outs of the operation as well as anybody. He spends his days loading and unloading trucks all day and keeping the warehouse organized. He personally inspects every load of product that arrives to insure top quality for every customer.
