Caramelized Crybabies    
3 lbs Crybaby or other spicy onion                               
1 1/2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 tsp. crushed thyme
1 tsp. crushed rosemary
salt and pepper to taste

Halve and slice onions.  Heat oil in skillet and cook onions over medium heat for 15 to 20 minutes until soft and golden.  Stir in thyme, rosemary, salt and pepper.  Serve warm or chilled to accompany or top your favorite dishes.

Serving ideas:

Baby spinach salad:  Toss fresh baby spinach with pine nuts, diced granny smith apple, and hot caramelized crybabies.  Serve with a sweet vinaigrette.

Smother your favorite steak or burger with hot caramelized Crybabies and all of your favorite other toppings.
